Golden retriever orphans

BIO: Hello everyone, I’m McKennie. I’m a 5-year-old Great Pyrenees-Golden Retriever mix and I weigh 71 lbs, which is underweight for me. I was in a rescue in Tennessee, but that rescue closed up so a very kind volunteer there contacted AGB and asked them to take me in. Luckily for me, they did because I was not in the best shape. I had a skin condition that needed treatment, a bad ear infection, needed my shots and neutering, and I also have heartworms. The doctors here got right to work giving me all the medicines and treatments I need to get better so I can be adopted. I am housebroken. I have lived with three cats and a male and female dog. I get along with older kids, but would not be well suited for a home with small children. I am crate trained but prefer to be with my people. I am sweet natured and love being petted and loved on. I really love food and I can’t be trusted with it if it’s left unattended. I have been called a “counter surfer”, whatever that means. Ha! I feel so much better now that I am getting the care I need and I am trying to be a really good boy and rest up while I wait for my forever family to find me. If you are looking for a special boy to be your forever best friend I hope you will submit an adoption application and ask to meet me! Also, if you can make a donation to help AGB with my medical bills, I would be most grateful. Just click ‘more’ to see how much I need and make a tax-deductible gift. Thanks, friends!
