Otis

March 9, 2023 – Otis, now Jackson, went from living life outside to living in the lap of luxury. Jackson’s new mom says that he is the sweetest boy ever. He loves car rides, playing with all of his toys, playing tug of war with his new brother, Cooper, and naps on the couch. Jackson’s new mom says “We had recently put our 13 year old Golden down and Cooper was grieving. I’m not sure that we were ready for a new dog, but we knew that Cooper needed a new friend! During his first meet and greet, Jackson walked into our home and acted like he had always lived here. He and Cooper are BFF’s who needed each other the most.” Thank you to our wonderful volunteers, Pam and Mary, for fostering this beautiful boy! We are so thankful for your support.

Hi friends! My name is Otis and I am a 5 year old golden boy. I have lived most of my life outside but I am house broken and I love to be indoors, so I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my days as an inside dog. I get along well with humans and other dogs. I don’t have much cat experience, but I am definitely curious about them! Unfortunately, AGB found out that I have these nasty things called heartworms, which is really sad because there is medicine that can easily prevent dogs from getting those and they can actually be fatal if left untreated! So, it’s a really good thing AGB took me in because their super duper doctors are going to give me the care I need to get well and move on to my forever family. AGB thinks they have found a great family for me, but I need to get healthy so I can be adopted. Any donation you can make to help with my medical care would be appreciated.
