March 8, 2023 – Sweet Kio has been adopted! His new mom is thrilled and says: “Kio is now Dale, named for the street we used to live on and nearby Daleville, AL. He is a big lover boy who loves to give hugs and be as close to mom and dad as possible (we’ve always got a hand on him!) Dale loves the car, bananas with PB and his new stuffed gator toy! He’s learning how to walk well on a leash and “stay” – it’s really hard when all you want is pets! This summer we’re excited to introduce Dale to the beach and the ocean. Thank you so much to the team at AGB for bringing this SWEET boy to us, we are incredibly grateful to have Dale as part of our family! And, many thanks to Val and Tim for fostering this guy.

Howdy folks, Kio here. I am a 3 ½ year old fella who ended up as what they call “stray”. Efforts to find my owners failed and I was in desperate need of someone to take me in. Of course, the big old softies at AGB couldn’t say no to a handsome dude like me and came to get me right away. I haven’t been here long, but they already know I am a good boy on a leash and I know some commands. I am also incredibly sweet! Sadly, the doctors found out I am heartworm positive, so I will need to start treatment for that right away. I also have an ear infection, some wounds on my paws, a lesion on my head and a growth inside my ear. They’re going to take care of all these things and get me neutered and vaccinated so that I will be in tip top shape when my forever family comes along.
