Nala

November 10, 2022 – Sweet Nala now lives in Montgomery with her new family. Her new Mom gives their son, who is 8 years old, credit for insisting on adopting a dog. Here are a few words from Nala’s new Mom…. “We think we hit the jackpot with the adoption of Nala! She is the sweetest, most polite dog and we couldn’t imagine life without her now. She has integrated herself into our lives so effortlessly and she goes everywhere with us–to the soccer field, on day trips, even trick or treating! She loves waking the kids up in the mornings and tucking them into bed at night, running in the garden, and having her belly scratched. She even supervises Sam to make sure he does his homework!” Thanks to Pam for fostering.

My name is Nala. I am a 6-year-old, 84 lb. golden girl who came to AGB because my owners were divorcing and left me and their other dogs behind. Thankfully, someone took us in and though they could not keep us, they cared for us until they could find rescues to take us. I am a sweet girl and I get along well with all people, including kids, and other dogs. I haven’t been around cats, so I’m not sure if we would like each other. I am housetrained and do well in the house. I like to go for car rides and to run and play. AGB found that I have not been to the Vet in years, so they are making sure I get cleaned up, are given all my shots, and they’re taking care of some ear infections and skin issues I was having. I am hoping that soon I will meet my new forever family and all the bad things in my past will be forgotten.
