September 6, 2022 – Lucas, now Luke, has been adopted! This beauty landed quickly into his new home in Wetumpka. His new Dad indicated he had lost his beloved Golden, Venus last month and was very sad. In surfing the net he found AGB and the rest is history. “This big guy is a fantastic Golden and I named him Luke. His new vet and staff just fell in love with him. He is settling in nicely and learning to really like his leash, new bed inside and big backyard. The adoption process with AGB was wonderful. Robin and the entire AGB adoption team made adopting beyond pleasant. Thank you AGB for my fantastic new friend, Luke.” Happy trails Luke!

Hewwo AGB Friends. I’m Lucas, a 3.5-year-old, 85 lb. boy and I’m pleased to meet you! I am looking for a forever home where I can get all the love and care I need. You see, I was not well looked after previously and neglected. Unfortunately, because I wasn’t given proper care and medicine, I had a really nasty ear infection and those awful Heartworms when I came to AGB. Luckily for me, my somewhat winding road in life finally led me to this awesome rescue and now I am getting the medical care I need to get healthy and ready for my new family. I am housetrained and best suited for a family without small children or small dogs. I love being with people, playing, swimming, car rides, and generally being your best friend.
