Sherlock
March 30, 2022 – Sherlock came to AGB afraid of his own shadow and was terrified of people. He is now Tucker, and he continues to come out of his shell more each day thanks to the love and patience of his dad and four legged brothers, Rascal and Buddy. His dad says, “Tucker is doing so good. He loves his two brothers and is now very much a snuggle pup with me.” Thank you, Mike, for showing Tucker the kindness and goodness in the world and for giving him a new life.
Original Adoption Post
Hi there folks. My name is Sherlock and I am a 2 year old boy weighing about 48 lbs. I ended up in a shelter where I was very, very scared. Luckily, AGB agreed to take me as I need help getting over my fears and becoming socialized. AGB has been taking care of my medical needs; things like vaccinations, neutering, deworming, and getting my ears and skin clean and healthy. But they’re also taking care of some things to make me a more happy, social family member for my forever home. They have gotten a trainer to work with me on things like trust, play and letting people love me. I admit, I have not had much interaction with anyone in the past and I am timid and afraid someone will want to hurt me. You see, I am learning, AGB not only cares about the physical health of us orphans, but things you might not see, like our mental health and stability. They know that some dogs need extra care and interaction to help them be the best dog they can be. Luckily for me, I am one of those dogs AGB has committed to doing a little extra for. I am learning already that there are good people out there who only want to love and care for me. And I gotta tell you, it feels good! I would do well in a family with another dog, so I can have a doggie friend. If you’re looking for a sweet fella to be your best friend, I hope you will ask AGB to let you meet me, Sherlock.
