Scout

November 22, 2021 – Scout is forever home and we are happy to share this note from his new family: “It took us a while to be ready for another dog after losing our beloved Golden in 2017, but working with AGB this fall we knew we would find the right fit – then along came Scout! He won us over with his loving smile and his bouncy Golden walk. He’s cute as a button – fluffy and soft, loves to walk or stare at backyard squirrels. Scout is also proving to be a great big brother to our adoring kiddos, both of which love to have him snuggle in for evening book time or morning play. Scout says, “Sometimes I jump when I’m so excited to see my new family, but I’m working on staying ‘down’.” We say thank you to AGB and his foster home (Thanks Natalie!) for helping us find our new pup and for getting Scout to his forever home. We can’t imagine our future without him, and look forward to watching Scout watching the kids grow and thrive as the newest member of our family.”

Hey friends, Scout here! I’m a 5 year old, 33 lb, Golden mix. I’m a happy, friendly fella looking for fun and adventure with a forever family. I love kids, other dogs and I’ve never met a stranger, because I become fast friends with most everyone! (I’ve never been around cats though.) Sadly, sometimes there is a rare occasion when someone doesn’t like me back and that’s what brought me to AGB. You see, my family made the tough decision to give me to AGB because their other dog did not like me and we had to be kept separated all the time. They knew that was no way for either of us to have to live, so I became an AGB dog. I won’t be here for long though because I have already found my perfect match! Woo hoo! Happy tails ahead!
