Butterbean

Butterbean, now Ruby, was a stray taken in by a shelter in Pell City before coming to Adopt A Golden Birmingham. This sassy little girl went to foster with a long-time foster family and eventually let her mom and dad know that she was already home. They were resistant because they love fostering and had decided they weren’t going to adopt. Ruby got into their hearts though.  

They took the big step to adopt her and she is now forever home. Her mom says she is “such a good, smart, and quiet girl who loves everyone. She told us soon after she got here that she was home but it took a bit longer for us to realize that she is perfect for us.”  Thankfully Ruby loves other dogs so they have plans to continue fostering when the right one comes along.
