Tuna/Jaxson

August 15, 2020 – Tuna is now Jaxson and he has joined his lucky AGB alum brother in Florida with a wonderful family! His mom and sister made the long drive to Birmingham after waiting patiently for another dog. His new mom says, “Jaxson has made friends with our cat- who is usually very aloof. He enjoys playing in the back yard with Caddy although he is still trying to figure out the pool. He is such a sweet dog; so easy to spoil him! He also likes evening walks on his leash in the neighborhood. We are so fortunate to have Jaxson join our family.” We believe Jaxson is fortunate to be part of this family!

Hello, my name is Tuna – which probably stands for Terrific/Unique/Nice/Adorable. After all, I am a Golden Retriever. I’ve been very sad lately because my beloved owner passed away and I’ve been grieving. I’m 3 years old. You can see I’m quite the handsome hunk with a beautiful cream and golden coat and big, dark eyes. I enjoy flirting. I’m sweet and affectionate. I weigh 76 pounds and I’m in good shape medical-wise. I’m heart worm negative, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I’m staying with a foster family now and quite happy to be an AGB pup. After the sadness of losing my best friend, I am very glad to be in rescue and promised a great new home. Going forward, there are people to love, fun to have and new adventures.
