Aslan

August 11, 2022 – Aslan has hit the jackpot with his new family from the Rocket City! His parents are former adopters with big hearts as they also rescued Boo, a 7 month old Great Pyrenees boy, just a few months before bringing Aslan home. He is learning how to be a polite gentleman and loves to walk with his dad. Big thanks to Maggie for fostering this amazing boy!

My name is Aslan and I am a handsome, 15 month old fella. I am smart and friendly and like to play. In fact, I can usually be found with a toy or blanket in my mouth because, well, I’m a Golden and we like to carry stuff around. I am house and crate trained and not destructive in the house, so if you leave your shoes out, they’ll be safe with me! I can get excited to see you sometimes and may bark or jump a little, so I hope my new family will work with me on that and also on walking nicely on a leash. I really do want to please and I’m a fast learner, so with a little work and patience, I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it soon. I have not had experience with other dogs or cats, but my new foster brother is teaching me a lot about playing with other pups. I will fit in best in a family without young children. I still have some puppy in me, so my foster Mom has been known to call me a “big goofball”. I think that must be code for “adorable”. If you are ready to meet your new best friend, come meet me!
