Bruno

Bruno came to AGB after his family could no longer take care of him.  He was not with us long! 

His new dad says, “At our house, we feel pets come best in pairs. We all like friends and companionship, right? Bruno (now Fred) came to us after a long search for my previously adopted golden, Coda, a friend. 

When we adopted Coda from Adopt A Golden-Birmingham,  he liked being the only dog in town!  After many months of training and socialization, our family decided it was time to explore Coda’s behavior with family cousins, golden doodles! All 3 boys were fast friends. We originally thought we wanted to wait on a female companion for Coda. After his visits and interactions with his male cousins, we opened the search to males as well. Enter Bruno; now Fred. He’s easily the most easy-going, soft-spirited, lovable golden I’ve been around in a long time. He fit right in. 

Both Coda’s and Fred’s good habits have rubbed off each other in the most positive ways. Working with AGB was easy yet again. Thank you!
