Buster

September 29, 2021 – Little 10 year old Buster came to AGB from a shelter. And, with his calm sweet nature plus loving other dogs, it did not take this sweet guy very long to find his new forever home. Buster, now called Buddy, has 3 other pups to play with and his very own cat he loves. His Dad says he is settling in nicely and loves having 2 backyards where he and his new friends can hang out … even the house cat. Buddy is one lucky dog and his new family is so glad to have him. Thank you Debbie for the longest foster of Buster!

Hi friends, I’m Buster. I am about 10 years old and weigh 76 pounds. I am a retriever mix with a white dappled face. I was turned into a shelter as a stray and luckily AGB took me in. I have a calm, sweet nature and I am housebroken, but I am a little timid. If you had been out and about in the world on your own as I was, you would be shy too! But with the help of my foster family, I am learning to trust again. Don’t I look handsome on my lead after enjoying a nice walk? I am heartworm negative, but I had ear infections, itchy skin, and very matted fur when I came in. So AGB had to get me shaved to let my skin heal and my fur grow back nice and pretty. I also limp some so I am taking joint supplements to help me with that. As you see, I walk pretty good on a leash and I also ride well in the car. What I really need is someone who has patience and love to give to a special senior fella like me. Could that be you? If you think so, let AGB know you want to meet me, Buster, very soon.
