Butter

May 9, 2023 – Butter has melted her new family’s heart! Her new mom says she is the best and has this to say about her: “We are over the moon excited to have Butter as a part of our little family! We have wanted a golden for years and Butter chose us at the perfect time; it was love at first sight! She settled in very quickly and has the cutest and funniest personality; very sweet, loves everyone she meets and always smiling. She enjoys playing in the back yard (we are working on fetch and putting the “retrieve” in retriever!), long walks in the neighborhood, car rides, her new chew toys, naps and especially snuggling with Mom on the couch at night. We are so grateful to have found AGB and appreciate all the work their volunteers did to bring Butter into our lives. A big thank you to Robin for all of your help and Maggie for keeping our girl safe while she awaited her forever home!

Howdy friends! My name is Butter. I’m a 6 year old golden girl and I weigh 59 lbs. I haven’t had the easiest life so far. Some people did not treat me kindly and so I am learning to trust again. But as you can see, I am a pretty girl and I’m also really sweet. I am what some people call ‘Velco’ because I like to stick close to my people. Since I like all the attention, I might like to be an only dog. I am potty and crate trained and not a big barker.
