Chancy

Chancy, now Bella, has a very sad beginning but a very happy ending to her rescue story. 

Bella was found in north Alabama on the side of the interstate, closed up in a cage. She was taken to the Limestone County shelter, who then contacted Adopt a Golden Birmingham. AGB’s volunteers jumped into action, drove to Athens to pick her up, and brought her in. She went to foster very quickly and was adopted soon after. This very sweet girl hit the jackpot with her adopters. A family of three that can shower all kinds of love on this girl and that she can give in return.  

Her new dad says, “We are so thankful for Beth and AGB for helping us find Bella. We knew we wanted to adopt our first dog after our sweet 14-year-old kitty passed away last year. Bella is a sweet, smart girl and we feel so lucky that she is part of our family!  She loves to zoom around the backyard, play with her toys (and her human sister’s), go for walks, and ride in the car. We hope to work with AGB again in the future and are so thankful for our girl!!
