December 14, 2023 – Another AGB Happily Ever After. We use the word “another”, as Chloe (now Becca) has become the second dog adopted by this amazing family this year. She joins Tess (formerly Melody) in one amazing family. The two are perfectly matched and seem like they have been together forever.

Their mom had this to say about their journey……

“Our Adoption Love Story…”

Chloe, a breeder dog with severe heartworms, found herself posted on Craig’s List. Two good samaritans responded to the ad and saved her. They notified Adopt A Golden Birmingham. AGB angels helped with Chloe’s arrangements and transport so they could get her to a vet and then placed into a foster home. That foster family turned out to be us. We had recently fostered and adopted an AGB puppy that had been abandoned. Chloe quickly took over as a mom to our little Tess and the two quickly bonded. Chloe, now Becca… and Tess, previously Melody, are home.
