February 14, 2022 – Beautiful but shy Cotton has found his perfect home. A retired couple from Louisiana saw Cotton on AGB’s website and knew he would complete their family. He warmed up more quickly than anyone imagined and is loving belly rubs, his backyard, and following his new parents every step. His new mom said, “Thank you, AGB, for letting Cotton live with us!! I can promise you there is nowhere else he could have a better life and forever home. He grows more confident by the hour, and loves to watch for squirrels in the backyard.” Enjoy your wonderful life, Cotton. Hey there friends! I’m Cotton, a 2 year old golden mix. My owners were sweet people, but they were struggling with illness and taking care of all their pets. It was a hard decision, but they decided it was time to find us new homes, so they reached out to rescues they could trust. I got placed with AGB and they are all treating me great. I love dogs and cats, but I can be shy around new humans. I had never worn those things you call collars and leashes, but my great foster mom is working with me and I’m learning to be the best companion ever! I am a real sweetheart who can be a great family dog for just the right people. I need love and have so much to give.
