Dusty
June 29, 2021 – Dusty was in horrible shape when he was found by a kind family. They treated his heart worms, got rid of his fleas and nursed him back to tip top shape before they asked AGB to find his forever home. This loving dog with his huge smile who has never met a creature he didn’t love quickly found a wonderful home. His new best buddy had recently lost his dog and needed a new companion. Dusty’s new dad can’t say enough good things about him…”He’s wonderful, smart, and has learned so much in the few days he’s been here. He is just so sweet.” Many thanks to Savanna for fostering Dusty and taking such good care of him.

How cool is the name Dusty – like cowboy cool, right? My name is Dusty and I’m a three year old boy who weighs 51 pounds. And I am cool! I’ve got a grin as big as all outdoors. I arrived at AGB when the folks I was living with decided I was well enough and young enough to find a wonderful, active, forever home. They saved me. They took me in when I was in bad shape, skinny, heart worm positive and flea bitten and took care of me until I was in great shape. I am crate and doggy door trained. I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and, hallelujah, I am heart worm negative. Besides a big grin, I am one happy, exuberant boy who is extremely sweet. Very friendly, never met a person or a kid or a dog I didn’t like. Naturally, I’m house trained. I’ve been sleeping on a dog bed in the family room but I’d be thrilled to move that dog bed next to your bed. So far, I haven’t been allowed on furniture so I won’t presume. I am kind of tentative on hardwood floors; they’re probably slippery and ornery. I know “sit”, “off” and “down”. I’m quite a handsome boy and I’d love to be your constant companion. Did you know the name Dusty means “brave warrior”. A cowboy cool brave warrior. What more could you ask for?
