Isla

This beautiful girl came to Adopt A Golden Birmingham through a shelter, where she was brought in as a stray. She was fostered for a while and then found her forever home pretty quickly. Her new mom says, “My last dog passed away two years ago, and Isla was worth the wait! There are no words to describe how much joy and love Isla has brought our home. She is loving, gentle, sweet, and calm. Beth, the adoption coordinator, worked with me to find a dog with the right personality and temperament. Isla is an angel in dog form! I feel lucky every single day that she came into my life. Her personality shines a little more each day, and she’s always making me laugh and smile. 

Some fun facts about Isla: she loves cheese and deli meat, rolling down the hill in the backyard, long walks so she can sniff everything, car rides, and lazy Sundays with her people. She loves all people and kids! Isla has made friends with other dogs in our neighborhood, and she loves going on group walks with her doggy friends.
