July 22, 2022 – Sweet Luke is Adopted! Luke came to AGB from another shelter but only for a few minutes. This sweet guy had a new family waiting on him when he arrived in Birmingham. His new Mom says Luke has showered her in “sunshine” in such a short amount of time. He has become known as ’my best friend’ to run around with. Luke is so loving and happy to meet everyone. And, after waiting for a long time, he is very grateful for his forever home with his own toys and space. We have already started training sessions and are ready to learn, grow and love together. And, many thanks to Amy for transporting this guy and making the adoption come together at just the right time for Luke and his new Mom.

Hi! My name is Luke. I’m a 5 year old Aussie Shepard/Golden mix. I was with another rescue for a while, but they thought AGB would have better luck finding me a family, so here I am. I’m a friendly guy who loves people. I ride well in the car. I am sweet and affectionate and I love treats! I am best suited to be your one and only pup, so I’m looking for a family who will give me all the attention. Luckily, I don’t think I will have to wait long. AGB has a family who has been searching for a fine fella like me, so I have my paws crossed that I will be adopted very soon.
