Mary Ann

January 19, 2024 – On December 17, 2023, Adopt A Golden Birmingham was privileged to be a part of the adoption of 14 puppies-now known as the Gilligan’s Island puppies. These puppies had a really tough start. They were found with their mama under a canoe in Arkansas. After a lot of hard work by the volunteers of AGB, they made their way to Birmingham and into an amazing foster home. The foster and her family took on loving and nurturing these 14 puppies along with their sweet mama.  Thanks to them and all the teams at AGB, all 14 puppies and their mama are in their forever home and thriving.

Mary Ann’s family drove all the way from north Alabama via a side trip to Atlanta to get their pup. Mary Ann (now Roxy) has a new home with a couple of young girls to grow up with. Her new mom says she loves the cold weather, loves playing with friends that come over and is finally getting used to being away from her puppy siblings. She loves being with her people and is so good with her 2 legged siblings. Her new mom is very thankful for the foster mom and her family for getting the puppies so far along and socialized. It has made such a difference in their adjustments in their new homes. Mary Ann is a brave little girl and not skittish about ANYTHING!  Bravo little girl – we at AGB are so excited to see you grow and be the best friend for your family members.
