Woman and man standing next to two golden retrievers on leashes

Mater/Major

April 3, 2021 – Mater, now Major, was surrendered to AGB because his previous family didn’t have enough time for the young energetic 9 month old pup. AGB recognized Mater needed a little help on his manners so sent him to puppy boot camp for some training. Mater now has a Mom and Dad willing to continue his training and have loads of love to give him. Mater also has a new 4 legged brother to play with and teach him the ropes. Good luck Mater and continue working on your new improved skills.

Original Adoption Post

Hello there, my name is Mater, a rip roaring happy puppy. I’m 9 months old! I weigh 67 pounds. I was surrendered because my owner was working so many long hours there was no time to spend with me. And just like most puppies, I need lots of attention and someone to give me a schedule, training, exercise and a whole lotta love! And toys; there should be toys. I like treats too. I had to get neutered and get some medicine for a slight ear infection. I’ve been vaccinated and microchipped and I’m heart worm negative. You can see I’m quite a handsome boy with my happy grin and my light golden coat. I’m good with other dogs, cats and people. Once AGB chooses a new home for me, I’m sure I’ll settle right in and learn to be the perfect Golden Retriever. I just need attention and love. Don’t you? I’m sure I can give you lots of slobbery love and be your very best friend. Later, Mater!
