Nara

Nara is a sweet older girl who arrived at Adopt A Golden Birmingham from a shelter after being found as a stray.  She was heartworm positive so we had her treated and after a stint in foster care she found her new mom and a forever home.  

Her mom says, “What a precious, shy, sweet girl. She’s over 7 years old, but you would never know it. From her very first night, she slept in my bed and learned to use the dog door. She loves her food and treats, though fruit and vegetables are not her favorites! She doesn’t enjoy car rides; I think she may worry I’m taking her back, but she has nothing to worry about here. She enjoys walking on the golf course and sniffing everything along the way. She has settled in beautifully and seems to understand life here already.”
