Oliver
April 19, 2021 – Beautiful 7-8 year old pure bred Oliver, turned in with Maggie X because he supposedly could not be house trained, has been adopted and has had no accidents whatsoever since being with AGB, either at his foster home or his new permanent home. His family says “Oliver is the perfect dog, very mellow, likes kids and other dogs. Doing very well!” He settled right onto his comfy pallet and is enjoying the outdoor time he gets to listen to the birds. He also has a little dog next door that visits often and keeps him entertained. So glad you found your perfect home Oliver, lucky boy!
Original Adoption Post
Hello, I’m Oliver. Oliver the Optimist! I just found out what being an AGB pup means – these folks are going to care for me and then find me a wonderful, forever home. How lucky am I? I arrived at AGB in Birmingham along with Maggie X. In our past, we were both breeder dogs but that was then and this is now. I’m around 8 years old. I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heart worm negative. I weigh 82 pounds and I think I look good but the vet says “lose a few pounds”. The vet also said I was a happy and healthy boy. I have a beautiful cream colored coat and a handsome Golden demeanor. I really like people and other pups. Living in a kennel situation for all those years means I probably don’t have the polished house manners yet but I’m a quick study and I definitely want to please you. So from a optimistic pup, let’s spend the rest of our lives together. What an adventure for a handsome stud like me!
