Penny

Penny came to us from her owner after they were no longer able to take care of her. This sweetheart of a girl was able to go to foster, where she proved herself to be the epitome of a Golden Retriever: sweet, loyal, goofy, smart, and gorgeous. She was soon on her way to her forever home, where she has become a big part of the family. 

Her new mom says, “ Penny is the perfect missing puzzle piece to complete our family!  She loves to get all the pets, play with the kids, and follow Mom around anywhere she goes. She loves ice and will come running anytime anyone is at the refrigerator getting a drink with ice, which we now call having to pay the ‘Penny Tax’. She also loves her toys, people in general, and we’ve discovered: fruits and vegetables! So blessed to have found this girl through Adopt A Golden Birmingham.”
