September, 8, 2021 – Petey’s new family says “From the moment we met Petey, we knew we could never, ever give him back! Surprisingly, given his background, Petey seems to have never found somebody or something he doesn’t love! He’s brought so much energy into our home, and it feels like he’s been ours forever!” What a darling family they make. Congrats Petey!

Hi there everyone, I’m Petey! I am 1 year old and I weigh 52 lbs. I’m a Golden mix and I like to play! Some folks say I’m a little “hyper”, but I think I’m pretty normal for a fun loving young boy. I may need a little training, but I’m sure it’s nothing you couldn’t handle. I was found wandering the streets, so I just need someone to show me the ropes of being a house dog. To have been a stray, I’m in pretty good health. I had some fleas and two ear infections, which AGB is treating for me. I could also stand to gain a few pounds, but that will probably happen naturally as I eat good, regular meals. I am sweet, affectionate and I get along well with other dogs.
