Woman sitting on the ground next to a golden retriever mix

Pixie

December 12, 2022 – Pixie (now Missy) has been adopted! Pixie has found her fur-ever mom and family! She has settled right into our routine and filled a hole in our hearts! She is attentive and loves to cuddle on the couch. She is very polite – she sits beside the table while we eat without a hint of begging! She loves to take walks and see the geese at the pond. She has great ball catching abilities and is very agile. It has been fun watching her relax more and more each day – her first “zoomies” were a joy to behold! We are grateful for Adopt a Golden Birmingham for helping connect Missy to her place with us! Many thanks to Pam and Suzanne for fostering this sweet girl.

Original Adoption Post

I’m Pixie! I’m a little girl of 2-3 years who wound up stray and in a shelter until AGB stepped up to take me in. I weigh about 40 lbs and I have been told I look like a little fox! My AGB friends think I will be somebody’s dream dog! Here are just a few of the things my foster families have liked best about me: I’m potty and doggy door trained, playful but calm, I don’t chew on things, I’m a small-medium size, I am easy on walks, I am a loving snuggle bug, and I am dog, kid and cat friendly. So, as you see, I am pretty much a perfect little girl! If you think I would be a great addition to your family, I hope you will contact AGB and ask to meet me. I look forward to meeting you soon!
