Red Clay Stray
Red Clay Stray (now Bear) was brought in to Adopt a Golden Birmingham as a stray. He was so dirty we weren’t sure what his true color was! Once he was bathed he became a big, beautiful, fluffy, white ball of sweetness. His kind demeanor made him a hit with everyone who met him.
His perfect family came along looking for a new pup that would be a best friend to their Golden girl who had recently lost her best friend. His new mom says “We lost our beloved 14-year-old Golden to cancer this year and everyone in our house was completely lost, including our other Golden, Pepper. While no one can replace our sweet Sam, we knew he would want us to offer love to another buddy in need too.
One look on the website and my girls knew exactly who they wanted – the giant, golden, Great Pyrenees mix. Bear’s big, silly, gentle ways have brought so much joy back into our lives. He just overflows with playfulness and excitement whether he’s romping around with Pepper or snuggling on the couch. I’m so grateful to AGB for bringing this big love into our lives just when we needed him most!”
