Remy

When Remy (now Rory) was surrendered due to no fault of her own, her story came at the exact same time that we were talking to her soon-to-be new dad.  She fit everything they were looking for in a dog, especially one that would be ok with their sweet little girl!  She went home pretty quickly and it has been a perfect match.  

Her new dad says: “In 2024, we tragically lost our beloved family dog, Piglet. We’re a dog-loving family, and even our 18-month-old adores animals – ‘puppy’ has been one of her first words! Given our stage of life, we were looking for a sweet, young dog ready to embrace life with a toddler. Adopt A Golden Birmingham matched us with Rory and we couldn’t be more grateful. Rory has been affectionate and joyful and a heartwarming addition to our little family of three. She loves to snuggle, play, and eagerly cleans up food after our daughter-they’re already forming a strong alliance!
