Sammy
March 7, 2020 – Sammy has been adopted to a Tennessee couple that “didn’t sleep for two nights they were so excited about Sammy.” They report the days shine brighter with him there and sent a gorgeous sunrise with Sammy looking out over their lake view. With a patient and persistent foster, because Sammy initially had a tendency to want to get away and go on little adventures, he finally settled in. He is living just down the street from the foster’s parents so she will get to visit him when she goes home! We hope you will enjoy swimming Sammy, because you have the perfect life and parents who will dote on you. Don’t forget your doggie vest!
Original Adoption Post
Hello there, folks. I’m Sammy the Spectacular but you can just call me Sammy! I’m a 7 and 1/2 year old Golden boy who weighs 57 pounds. I’ve been feeling a little melancholy because my person had to enter a nursing home and, while I got to visit them for a while in the nursing home, the family thought it might be best for me to find a new home and some new people to love me. I loved visiting the nursing home; everybody was so happy to see me. So since I’m good at cheering folks up, maybe somebody would cheer me up by welcoming me into their home and heart. That would be grand! I’m a healthy boy who is heart worm negative, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I’ve got a light gold coat with a bit of a sugar face and a roguish grin. I’ve always lived in doors so I’m house trained. I’m not sure about cats, but maybe I haven’t been around them. We could have a spectacular life together, don’t you think? xox, Sammy
