Scarlett

September 4, 2022 – Sweet little Scarlett is now Sunday (Sunny for short) and has two parents who love her so much! Sunday came to AGB from after a former adopter rescued her from the shelter in Montgomery. She has some awful anxiety and needed someone who could work with her and be around more at home so she made the trip to Birmingham to find her new family! Her new mom says she lights up the room wherever she goes. Sunny loves to walk the trails, play at the dog park and go out for dinner at local restaurants. Thank you Theresa for fostering this beauty!

Hi there everpawdy! I’m Scarlett, a 2-year-old little girl weighing in at 49 lbs. I’m a sweet, smart, and friendly little lady just waiting for my perfect match. I’m a real love bug who has been described as “a Velcro dog”, which I’m told means I want to be at my human’s side all the time. Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with that! I get along well with other doggies, but I have been known to chase the kitty cats. I play well with bigger kids but have not been around the little ones. I really don’t like to be in crates as they make me nervous. I love car rides, walks, swimming, and to play (a lot!). I get pretty excited, and I can run and jump well, so I would be best suited to play in a yard with a high fence. Since I’m still young, I’m hoping to find someone who can give me some exercise and attention. I know basic commands like sit, come, and off, but I know there is so much more you can teach a smart girl like me. If you are looking for your next “best girl” and you like red heads, I might be the one for you!
