Shadow

Shadow arrived at Adopt a Golden-Birmingham after being dumped at a home.  They took him in and cared for him but could not keep him long term.  He was in foster for a bit before he found his forever home.  

His new mom says, ”  We decided in late 2025 we were ready to fill the hole left in our lives from losing our golden girl.  We traveled from upstate South Carolina to Alabama to adopt a new family member on New Year’s Day.  Shadow, now Farley, is the most wonderful golden boy.  He loves to snuggle and has not met a stranger.  He walks with us 3 times a day and sniffs happily along the way.  He loves his squeaky toys, his chews, and to play fetch.  He jumps straight up and down like a kangaroo while we prepare his meals.  He is so entertaining.  We are so grateful for everyone who assisted in his rescue and adoption.  You’re the best!”   Thank you to the Good Samaritan who took him in and passed him on to our care and for adopters who will travel so far, knowing their pup is waiting for them.
