Snowdrop

Snowdrop is a gorgeous Great Pyrenees that came in as a stray found by a Good Samaritan.  She’s a gentle giant who settled in nicely with several foster homes as she recovered from getting treated for heartworms.  Her new family saw her on our website, and Snowdrop, now Chloe, went right home with them.

Her new mom says, “Chloe (formerly known as Snowdrop) is officially a Watts girlie! Our daughter started talking about adding another dog to our pack several months ago and had her heart set on a Golden Retriever. She checked the Adopt A Golden Birmingham website nearly every day. A few weeks ago, our daughter spotted “Snowdrop” and knew she had to meet her. She also realized she likely wasn’t a Golden, but she just had a feeling this was the one. After meeting her, we all fell in love. Chloe has been getting to know her sisters, Daisy (Border Collie) and Annie (Staffy mix), wonderfully. She’s already found her favorite resting spots and loves walking around the neighborhood, taking it all in and learning her boundaries. This Great Pyrenees is the easiest, sweetest dog. She has some funny quirks that make her fit right in; from her random zoomies and bouncy barks to her deep sighs. We love everything about her and can’t wait to spend the rest of our days with her.”
