Tucker

Tucker came to Adopt A Golden Birmingham after his owner could no longer safely handle his storm anxiety.  This older boy went to foster and the rest is a happy ending for him. His new mom says:

“We have fostered many dogs and always knew they were meant for other families, until Tucker entered our lives. What was meant to be a one-week temporary foster turned into forever the moment he jumped into my car without hesitation.  He settled right in, sleeping in our bed, cuddling on the couch, and playing perfectly with our other two dogs. We knew we had to adopt him.

Despite coming to us with severe anxiety, he’s already calmer, loves his new thunder-shirt, and shows more of his sweet, goofy side every day. His favorite thing to do is supervise while I work from home. We definitely made the right decision and are grateful to give him a home. ”
