Twinkie

January 24, 2024 – After many months, the dedication of wonderful fosters, some training, and a lot of prayers, Twinkie (who is now Cookie) has found her forever home. She has been a persnickety girl, to say the least, but she has landed with two people who love her and are making a home with her. So often we at AGB can get a bit frustrated when we have a pup that seems to have a hard time finding a home. We keep the faith that the pup’s people are out there – we just have to find them – and we did!!  

We are so thankful to adopters who can see the golden hearts these babies have and can see the huge potential in a pup with issues! Her new family knows that she is worth the extra training and time that it has taken to get this girl feeling like she’s safe, loved, and has a place to live out her life. Some of our pups are easy adoptees that can go right into a home. But being a RESCUE means we have lots of pups that need a lot of extra time, love, patience, training, and help to get over the hump of their trauma and become the forever pup for a family. We are so appreciative of adopters like Twinkie’s who see this potential and are willing to put in the extra effort to get the pup home and happy.
