Val

We are thrilled to announce that Val, now Polar Joy (Po), has found her forever home!

This adoption is so special because Po’s family fostered Hildy along with Po and all of her siblings. Po is now officially part of their family and she couldn’t be happier!

Her mom shared, “Fostering Hildy and the Viking puppies was an experience unlike any other. And while we got attached to all of them, including Hildy. Po was different. She was only 2 weeks old, hadn’t even opened her eyes yet, and I just knew. I lost my heart dog in 2021 and I’ll never truly be whole without my girl, but Po is already healing a part of me she didn’t know was broken and we already adore her so very much.

We decided to name her Polar Joy, because she looks like a little polar bear and she is such a happy dog who brings so much joy. It just felt like the right moniker. Justin and I have never had a big, fluffy dog and we’re hoping she grows to be huge. Haha. Guess it’s a good thing I used to be a groomer.”
