Willow

 Willow was one of two puppies that were the only survivors of their litter after their mom had been abandoned.  Found by a Good Samaritan, they were surrendered to us and their mom was adopted by the finder.  A happy ending for all of them.  

 Willow (now Artemis) is now home with a 4-legged brother and a family that loves her.  Her new dad says, “ I have grown up with dogs most of my life, Golden Retrievers being my favorite breed. After losing my 15-year-old Golden Apollo, I knew I had to find another. Willow, now named Artemis, instantly stood out to me, and I quickly got in touch with Adopt A Golden Birmingham about her. They were quick to respond and walked me through the adoption process. 

 Artemis’ foster family was amazing at answering any questions we had, and we quickly set up a meeting for her to meet our other dog Scooby. After bringing Artemis home and giving her a day to decompress, she quickly settled in and now enjoys playing with Scooby on a daily basis. Often only wanting the toys he chooses to play with.”  What a great little sister Artemis has become and a well-loved girl to her humans.
